Found, Ming's main appearance in the series
Ming Reynolds is one of the Missing Children. She was originally a minor Chinese princess from the 4th Century before Gary and Hodge kidnapped her.
Background[]
In her original life as a Chinese Princess, Ming died after being stampeded by water buffaloes. Gary and Hodge stole her out of time shortly before her death, but early enough to cause a ripple, due to Ming's second cousin seeing her disappear from time. Consequently, JB had to briefly place her back into her tracer to allow her second cousin to see her get charged at by the buffaloes, before pulling her out at the last second.

During the scuffle in the Time Cave, JB grabs her and uses her as a shield, saying that Mr. Hodge and Gary wouldn't hurt one of the missing. Mr. Hodge casually reveals her identity, claiming that because she is relatively "obscure" compared the other children, he might be willing to sacrifice her in order to keep the others.
Ming originally believes the fight that broke out in the cave/Time Hollow between JB and Mr. Hodge was a role play. However, when JB grabs her, she says it's too realistic and asks them to stop.
Revealed[]
After JB and Angela travel to 1932, Jonah, unable to join them due to him having already lived through that time, waits for them in the Time Cave. A bored Jonah watches flashbacks of JB working with the Missing Children to restore their pasts, starting with Ming.
